Potato Upma Curry

Hi friends,im back after a lovely trip. The trip was amazing.im back here with lovely memories and cherishable moments.
Meanwhile I thought of the recipies running here....i think i missed some wonderful recipes in these days..but no probzz, this weekend i thought of going through the recipes that i have missed.
And coming to todays recipe..This is my fav vegetable, guess everyones fav.wtever may be the dish..if it comes with POTATO,then the dish will be simply delicious. This is a very simple and delicious recipe and my grannie used to prepare this esp on saturdays... dontno why??The name iteself tells us(the ingredients here are similar to semolina upma, but instead semolina we'll use potato) wt are the ingredients required to prepare this curry, lets check...

Hey forgot to say...my dad is very good at doing this curry :)

Ingredients
Potato
Onion
For Seasoning
Oil
Urad,Chana Dal,Mustard Seeds-1 tbsp
Jeera-1/2 tbsp
Turmeric-1/2 tbsp
Green chillies 4
Red Chillies 3-4
Ginger Paste 1/4 tbsp(optional)
Garnish
Curry Leaves
Cliantro
Lemon juice 3-4 tbsp(as per ur taste)
Directions:
Take Peeled Potatoes, cut them into cubes and pressure cook and mash them
Mean while chop onions,green chillies.
Now in a frying pan heat oil and add seasoning stuff in the above order..add onions now itself.Let them fry till onions turns to pinkish color.
Now add mashed potatoes, salt and mix throughly.
Garnish with curry leaves, cliantro and lemon juice..mix well
Goes well with rice,roti.
Note:My mom sometimes add tamarind juice instead of lemon....i prefer lemon :D
